Holding a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Nutrition from Mississippi State University, Madeline's academic journey laid the groundwork for her understanding of human behavior and well-being. Her subsequent studies at Southern Methodist University, specializing in trauma with courses in Expressive Arts, Mindfulness, and Neurobiology, deepened her expertise in addressing complex emotional and psychological challenges.
With over seven years of experience in corporate wellness, Madeline has a deep understanding of the unique stressors and demands of the modern workplace. This holistic perspective informs her therapeutic approach, emphasizing the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and mental health.
As a 200 HR Yoga Instructor specializing in trauma-informed practices, Madeline believes deeply in the mind-body connection. Through somatic experiences like yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness, she guides clients towards restoring balance and resilience.
Madeline's therapeutic approach emphasizes exploring the depths of human experience. By creating a safe and supportive environment, she empowers clients to uncover their truths, overcome obstacles, and cultivate lasting change. Her areas of expertise include trauma, women's health, addiction, shame, relationships, and mindfulness.
Currently pursuing her LCDC certification, Madeline is committed to expanding her knowledge and skills in addiction counseling. She offers both in-person and telehealth sessions and is supervised by Annie Tam at Mend Counseling.
