Being a teenager right now is more challenging than ever before. All the pressures of grades and planning for college with the conflicting messages you get from Tik Tok, Snapchat and Instagram coupled with COVID – it can feel like too much. At MEND counseling, we create a safe space for teens to talk through their issues and pressures with absolutely no judgment. We offer creative ways to help them navigate life as a teen in the ever-changing world they are living in.

How can therapy help?

MEND periodically offers teen groups for both males and females around various issues/topics. Our therapists also offer play therapy, talk therapy, and a wide variety of approaches. Counseling can help teens improve self-esteem, boost mood, build self-confidence, adopt healthy habits, and learn valuable life skills such as gaining greater insight, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution.
